- Bust (Garment Measurement): Close a well-fitting blouse, lay it flat, measure from armpit to armpit and ×2 = bust circumference.
- Body Measurement: Run a measuring tape horizontally over the fullest part of the bust, snug but not constricting.
- Length: Measure vertically from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the neck) down to the hem.
- Guideline: For a comfortable but figure-hugging fit, your bust circumference should be about 4–8 cm smaller than the respective bust garment measurement.
- Tolerance: Manual measurement ±1–3 cm; due to stretch, the blouse may adapt slightly when worn.
Size Recommendation
- Between two sizes? For a very figure-hugging décolletage → choose the smaller; for more comfort/mobility → choose the larger size.
- Full Bust / Dirndl Bra: Orient more towards the bust measurement; if your bust circumference is at the upper end of the range or you wear a push-up Dirndl bra, plan for a size larger.
- Shoulders & Arms: If you have broader shoulders or fuller upper arms, rather choose the larger size to avoid tension at the lace.
- Fit Check: The blouse should lie flat under the Dirndl without the lace being overly tight or cutting in.
